SK&S advised the Unilin group, part of the Mohawk Group, on the acquisition of shares in a subsidiary of LENTEX S.A.

SK&S’ transaction team advised the Unilin group, part of the US-based Mohawk Group, in its acquisition of a 100% stake in LENTEX Wykładziny Sp. z o.o. – a subsidiary of LENTEX S.A., listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. The value of the transaction is estimated at €20 million.

The Unilin Group is a global player in interior design and solutions for the construction industry. It has more than 8,000 employees worldwide in more than 100 locations. It is part of Mohawk Industries, Inc., the world’s largest flooring company. The acquisition is part of the Unilin Group’s growth strategy. The new acquisition enables the Unilin Flooring division to strengthen its position in Eastern Europe and further expand its offerings.

LENTEX S.A. is a leading manufacturer of flexible PVC residential and commercial flooring and a leading manufacturer of nonwoven fabrics on the Polish market. It is a company combining more than 100 years of tradition with modernity, resulting in a well-known brand and an established position in the market at home and abroad.

SK&S’ transaction team advised on all stages of the transaction process, including the due diligence as well as the preparation and negotiation of the transaction documentation.
