Lawyers of the Sołtysiński Kawecki & Szlęzak law firm advised Eurocash on the acquisition of a 49% shareholding  in the company operating the Arhelan chain of stores that ultimately will cooperate with the Eurocash Group within the franchise structures of Delikatesy Centrum. The transaction was closed on 9 November 2021.

Eurocash is a leader in the distribution of FMCG products in Poland and has been advised by SK&S for many years.

Arhelan runs a chain of over 100 retail stores under the brand Polskie Sieci Arhelan. The chain was founded in 1991 in Bielsk Podlaski by the Burzyński Family. Business activities are mainly conducted in Podlaskie, but also in the Warmińsko-Mazurskie, Mazowieckie, and Lubelskie Voivodeships.

The legal team advising Eurocash included:Head of Legal M&A at Eurocash – Agnieszka Skowronek, and on behalf of SK&S, Sławomir Uss (Partner), Witold Kurek (Senior Counsel), Dr. Piotr Moskała (Senior Associate), Krzysztof Misarko (Senior Associate), and Kacper Kurowski (Associate). Please exercise caution: carefully verify the sender’s address and avoid opening any suspicious emails or attachments. If in doubt, we recommend deleting such correspondence immediately.
