Sołtysiński Kawecki & Szlęzak law firm advised DataExpert on the purchase of 100% of shares in the Polish companies conducting business activity in the field of cybersecurity and computer forensics: Media sp. z o.o. (owner of the Mediarecovery brand) and Safesqr sp. z o.o.

DataExpert combats cybercrime and fraud by providing specialised forensic and security software, hardware, and training, enabling customers to conduct investigations and secure their systems and data effectively. DataExpert is owned by an investment fund managed by Bridgepoint Development Capital (BDC), which is part of Bridgepoint Group plc, a UK-based asset management company specialising in private equity and private debt investments with a focus on mid-market companies.

Media sp. z o.o. operates in the area of IT solutions dedicated to cyber security and computer forensics. Safesqr sp. z o.o. operates in the field of IT solutions dedicated to cyber security.

SK&S team supported DataExpert at all stages of the transaction – legal and tax due diligence, antitrust clearance, as well as, preparation and negotiations of transaction documentation.
