In response to emerging concerns about ensuring the continuity of the supply of fuels and electricity, we have prepared basic information on the rules governing the introduction of administrative restrictions on the consumption of electricity and natural gas in the territory of Poland.
The reports are published in two parts:
- electricity, and
- natural gas,
– due to different sources of regulation and different procedures governing restrictions on the electricity and natural gas markets.
In them, Krzysztof Cichocki, Tomasz Młodawski, and Aleksandra Pinkas answer the questions:
- when restrictions on energy and gas consumption can be introduced,
- who can introduce them,
- who they cover and who is a protected customer,
- how to implement the restrictions,
- what are the penalties for non-compliance with the restrictions, and
- how to prepare for the potential introduction of restrictions.
We hope you find our reports helpful.
