SK&S advised the Briand Groupe in the cross-border acquisition of the Astron Group

SK&S’ Project Team advised the French Briand Groupe on the Polish aspects of its acquisition of the Astron Group from the Swedish Lindab Group.

The Briand Groupe is a leading French construction company specialising in metal, wooden, and concrete structures. The Astron acquisition is an opportunity for the group to expand into other European markets.

The Astron Group is a manufacturer of steel structures and a developer of, among other things, turnkey industrial building projects (logistics, warehouses, manufacturing, heavy industrial buildings, sports facilities, buildings for agriculture purposes, and aircraft hangars) as well as multi-level car parks.

In the cross-border transaction, the Briand Groupe acquired the whole Astron Group, complete with its companies and industrial facilities in the Czech Republic, Luxembourg, Russia, Germany, Poland, Hungary, and France.

The Briand Groupe was represented by SK&S’ team composed of Sławomir Uss, Partner; Sylwia Macura-Targosz, Senior Associate; Witold Kurek, Senior Counsel; Filip Sodulski, Senior Counsel; and our Associates: Aneta Bąk, Magdalena Krupska-Kacprzyk, and Magdalena Rożek.
