Sołtysiński Kawecki & Szlęzak announces the appointment of a new Managing Partner. As of 1 January 2024, Dr Marcin Olechowski replaced Robert Gawałkiewicz, who was SK&S Managing Partner for 7 years before deciding to conclude his position at the end of 2023. Having said that, Robert Gawałkiewicz will not only continue to support the management of the law firm as a member of its Management Committee, but he will also maintain the corporate law and Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) practices.
Dr Marcin Olechowski joined SK&S in 1995 and since 2007 has been the partner in charge of the firm’s Banking and Finance practice. He is an attorney-at-law and, as a highly experienced practitioner in the regulation of financial services and institutions, is a long-standing member of the firm’s Management Committee, with extensive experience in financial and M&A transactions as well as in international arbitration.
