The partners of Sołtysiński Kawecki & Szlęzak have elected Robert Gawałkiewicz as the new Managing Partner of the firm. Robert Gawałkiewicz assumed this function on 1 January 2017 replacing the firm’s outgoing managing partner, Dr. Rudolf Ostrihansky.
Robert Gawałkiewicz has been with SK&S since 1994, and became a partner at the firm in 2000. He specializes in the areas of commercial law, company law and M&A with specific expertise in domestic and international trade; company transactions and company restructuring. He provides advice to corporate clients on many aspects of business transactions including the relevant industry, the FMCG sector, and the media. In addition to being an arbitrator of the Arbitration Court at the Polish Chamber of Commerce, Robert Gawałkiewicz provides clients with his expertise in court disputes and arbitration matters. He also heads SK&S German Desk team. Robert Gawałkiewicz is the author of many publications on commercial law.
