Professor Marek Kolasiński is a recognized expert in Competition Law. He is the author of a number of scientific publications, articles and opinions on detailed issues related to Antitrust Law and European Union law (his scientific output comprises over 70 publications). Since 2013 he has been working at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń (Wydział Prawa i Administracji Uniwersytetu im. Mikołaja Kopernika w Toruniu). In the years 2014-2015 Professor Kolasiński took part in the “Protection of Individuals against Competition Law Violations in the U.S., E.U. and Polish Legal Systems” project at Harvard Law School at Harvard University in the United States.
Before joining SK&S Professor Marek Kolasiński held the following positions, inter alia, Judge of the Court of Appeal in Warsaw dealing with the appeals against judgments issued by the Court of Competition and Consumer Protection (SOKiK) regarding decisions of the Office for the Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK) and regulatory authorities. Previously he was a member and a Vice President of the National Chamber of Civil Law Notaries (Krajowa Rada Notarialna).
