SK&S represented the company SRB Civil Engineering, John Sisk and Roadbridge in the conclusion of a settlement with the General Directorate of National Roads and Motorways to end disputes over the construction of 3 sections of a motorway.
On 15 December 2017 the General Directorate of National Roads and Motorways, supported by the Office of the Attorney General of the Republic of Poland, concluded a court settlement ending a series of disputes with contractors who carried out contracts for the construction of the A1 motorway. The court settlement concluded before the Regional Court in Warsaw is the result of negotiations conducted since May 2017. The Irish companies SRB Civil Engineering, John Sisk and Roadbridge were represented by the law firm SK&S, both in the negotiations and in the signing of the settlement.
The SK&S team headed by counselor Rafał Waszkiewicz (partner), Anna Grzywczak-Kubiak (senior counsel) and Maciej Zwoliński (senior counsel) also represented firms in the court cases which preceded the conclusion of the settlement with the General Directorate of National Roads and Motorways.
